Developed by Renault, the Logan has become a great success - it is designed for people who want an inexpensive car that is easy and cheap to repair and adapted to poorer roads with a durable suspension. Logan is based on the B platform used by the third-generation Renault Clio, Renault Modus and Nissan Micra. It has 50% fewer parts than the best-performing Renault vehicle, so like many low-cost vehicles with poor sound insulation, some parts are much simpler than their competitors: e.g. both rear-view mirrors are symmetrical, the windscreen is flatter than normal and so on.
