The fourth-generation Dodge Ram was unveiled at the 2008 North American International Show. The car has a number of innovations that will allow it to compete with competitors such as the Ford F-150, Chevrolet Silverado / GMC Sierra, Toyota Tundra, Nissan Titan and Lincoln Mark LT. The car’s design, like many other Dodge cars, has become even more expressive, with Ram receiving a new suspension, a new Hemi engine, a new storage system in the cab and more. The 5.7-liter HEMI V8 increased engine power from 45 hp (34 kW) to 390 hp (290 kW) and torque to 552 Nm, along with a 4% improvement in fuel consumption. The 4.7-liter Magnum V8 engine develops 310 hp (230 kW) of power and 447 Nm of torque, while the modest 3.7 L V6 has 215 hp (160 kW) and 319 Nm of torque.
