The Ferrari 456, unlike many Ferraris, has a front-mounted engine and four seats. It was a late shift for the old four-seater 412 model, which was no longer in production. The 456 was produced from 1992 to 2003, when it was replaced by the 612 Scaglietti. The Ferrari 456 has a 5.5 L (5474 cc) 65 ° V12 engine built on the Dino V6 engine instead of the more traditional 60 ° V12 that the 412 and Daytona models had. The engine has 436 hp (325 kW) power and 4 valves per cylinder. It was capable of accelerating a car weighing 1,690 kg to 302 km / h and was the fastest four-seater in the world, as well as the most powerful road car ever developed by Ferrari (excluding the F40). Acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h is only 5.2 seconds. This engine is a less powerful version of the engine that was later used in the 550 and 575 models. Despite the power, it was a very reliable engine. There were also several extremely rare versions sold to the Sultan and Prince of Brunei: this is an extremely rare Ferrari 456 GT sedan with 4 doors, and a 4-door station wagon! Also a Ferrari 456 GT Spyder Convertible. Only a few units of these cars were produced.
