The Fiat Coupe is most memorable for its truly distinctive and distinctive design, with diagonal lines running through the sides and Ferrari-type headlights. The body was designed by Chris Bangle and the interior by Pininfarina. The design of this Fiat far surpassed many of the sporty coupe cars of the time. The coupe was produced with four-cylinder 2.0-liter atmospheric and turbo engines. Both engines were twin-cam versions of the legendary Lancia Delta Integrale (which won a record 6 WRC championships).
