Designed for the North American market, the Honda Accord remains larger than the European and with a different design. The length of the new car has been increased by 102 mm and the width by 76 mm. As a result, interior space has also increased significantly and is now categorized as a high-end car. The most powerful Accord engine is the V6 with the efficient Honda Variable Cylinder Control System (VCM), which shuts off 2 or 3 cylinders depending on the driving mode (highway mode, downhill, etc.). As a result, the powerful 268 hp engine can be very economical. The design of the car is assessed very ambiguously - for some it is distinctive and unique, for others - strange and unattractive. The car has become heavier and less maneuverable than its predecessor, but overall the media has rated the car positively and often rated the Accord better than its main competitors (Toyota Camry, Nissan Altima, Chevrolet Malibu, Hyundai Sonata or Dodge Avenger). The car remained very well assembled, reliable, spacious and economical, although perhaps not as sporty and maneuverable. The Koger car will continue to be among the top-rated cars in consumer surveys, like many Accords to date, and will be the next step in the market for larger luxury sedans.
