Honda Odyssey, 2004 - 2010
The third-generation Odyssey grew again - widened, heavier, but remained the same length and space inside. The car itself perfectly combines the practicality of MPV with comfort and high interior materials. The gearshift lever is moved to the center of the instrument panel near the steering wheel. The second-row seats do not fold to the floor, and the third-row seats are replaced with continuous ones so that the apartments can be folded in a 60/40 ratio. Honda's new ACE body design style, used in the eighth-generation Civic, is also used in this monovolume - the car has front, side curtain-type airbags, stability control and ABS on all models. The car can also be equipped with curtains in the side windows. This Odyssey no longer has the transmission problems that its predecessor was famous for, and according to consumer surveys, the car’s reliability was average in 2005-2006. Problem areas - electrical appliances, audio system and suspension. But the car earns well in safety - the monovolume gets 5 stars in almost all NHTSA crash tests.
