The S2000 has a front-mounted engine with rear-wheel drive. Great combination. The most powerful version has an atmospheric 2.0 L F20C 4-cylinder DOHC VTEC engine that delivers up to 247 hp (179 kW) at an impressive 8600 rpm and 207 Nm / 7500 rpm of torque. It is a very high speed engine. This engine is the most HP single-liter atmospheric piston engine in the world, emitting 123.5 hp (92 kW) per liter. The S2000 has a sturdy X-shaped monocoque frame that offers high occupant safety and excellent vehicle handling. The suspension uses Honda’s famous two-link system, perfect for sporty driving. The compact and lightweight engine mounted behind the front axle provides the ideal balance for the car with a 50:50 weight distribution. Drivers praise the car for its handling, sensitivity, and uncharacteristic reliability of sports cars. Power and quality are almost ideal. However, the interior is not impressive and the trunk was completely unthinkable.
