The H3 is the smallest of the three Hummer models. Its platform is based on the GMT355, which produces Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon pickups. In the American market, H3 sales have always been strong - 33,140 units sold. This represents 74% of all Hummer sales in 2006. Because the H3 weighs less than 3856 kg (GVWR), the Hummer must meet official fuel economy ratings. The Hummer H2 can pass a 0.5 m water ditch, while the H3 will cross a 0.6 m.
