Jaguar XJS-Series, 1991 - 1996
The third and final generation Jaguar XJS was introduced in 1991, when the company was already owned by Ford Motor Company. The car received a new 4.0 L engine with a six-cylinder AJ6 engine. In 1992, a convertible added production. In the same year, the displacement of the V12 engine was increased, this time to 6.0 liters, and the power reached 227 kW (304 hp). The transmission was upgraded along with the engine. At the same time, the car was updated visually - it received more aerodynamic front and rear bumpers, as well as an updated dashboard inside.
