Jaguar has finally entered the luxury SUV market. Undoubtedly, this car is designed for asphalt and a sporty driving style. Like the recently unveiled XE and XF models, the F-Pace has a two-link front wishbone and a rear multi-link suspension, with lightweight aluminum being used in bodywork, which gives the car sporty features. In terms of dimensions, the Jaguar SUV is an intermediate option between the Range Rover Sport and Evoque models and is designed for buyers who value style and sportiness rather than passability. The design of the Jaguar F-Pace is very similar to the aforementioned XE and XF models, especially with the front end, and the rear end replicates the rear end of the sporty F-Type almost identically. And while the SUV is “glued together” from several lightweight pieces of Jaguar car design, it looks seamless and attractive. The sporty feel is not abandoned in the cabin either - the seats are mounted low enough here, the steering wheel is small and extremely fun. Repeating the Land Rover experience, the rear seats are mounted slightly higher than the front ones, giving the cabin a distinctive atmosphere of integrity. There are minor criticisms of the front and door panels, which are modest in both design and quality, given the market share of this Jaguar. The distinctive feature of this SUV, as expected, is its excellent handling characteristics - the car is operated like a mid-range sports sedan. The steering is a bit “heavier” than the smaller Jaguar, but it is extremely precise and responds very quickly to even small steering turns. At lower speeds, the car looks a bit restless, but as the speed increases, excellent stability features are revealed. The body tilt is slightly noticeable in corners, but it is quickly neutralized and allows the driver to feel confident even in sharp turns.
