The Jaguar XJ is a well-known luxury sedan. It was introduced to the market back in 1968 and has been the flagship of the Jaguar range almost all the time. This generation XJ did not introduce any radical innovations - from the outside it is not much different from its predecessor, most of the changes lie behind the hoods (new V8 engines were introduced) and in the interior. The interior received an oval-shaped instrument panel with an abundant wood and chrome finish. XJ Achilles heel - small space for rear passengers remained unchanged, but many consider this Jaguar to be a truly "Jaguar" and "British" car and love it, as evidenced by its popularity in Britain, where it was most in demand among luxury cars.
