The Jeep Commander is a mid-size SUV that can accommodate up to 7 passengers, but it’s only 2 inches longer than its smaller sibling, the Jeep Grand Cherokee. The menacing design of the new SUV is angled, sturdy, with upright windshields and side windows. The car looks bigger than it actually is, it is built on a smaller Grand Cherokee platform. The roof has a step for the second and third rows (here the passengers sit higher than the first row), but it is not visible from the outside. Commander has three skylights called Command View. The car’s purpose is to fight in the largest SUV class, here Commander’s undeniable military image undoubtedly raises its popularity. Safety features, off-road driving and the third row of seats are the strengths of this car, which is very important for a large family SUV.
