The Kia Carnival is designed to compete with the Toyota Sienna, Honda Odyssey and Chrysler minivans. However, the Carnival lacked the features that other minivans have - electric sliding doors, folding third-row rows forming a flat bottom, navigation systems, rear-view cameras or parking sensors. Also, the Carnival was not an economical car, and the luggage compartment was not the largest, and it ranked last in the reliability charts (111th on the list of equally possible 4-5-year-old cars, according to TUV). Probably not the best choice.
