Kia's assault continues - this time the company is targeting the VW Golf, Ford Focus or Opel Astra. It is an extremely competitive class and the battle for space in it is extremely fierce. Still, Cee’d has something to offer - first of all, we notice a really nice car design. The overgrown “nose” of the car and the extended LED headlights smoothly envelop the sides of the Cee’d, with a gracefully rising line of side windows on the side, all lines and proportions in perfect harmony. The car evokes better emotions than the VW Golf or Ford Focus, but is very similar to the new Opel Astra. The interior of the Cee’d is less expressive, but the devices are arranged in a clear European order - everything is logical, clear, comfortable and high quality. True, the aggressive-looking hatchback on the road still needs to stretch - the steering wheel is too light when cornering, and the car's nose is reluctant to engage in sharp turns. Nor can the engine range offer anything you would not find at any other manufacturer of modern golf cars. However, the Kia Cee’d bribes with ease of driving, relatively comfortable suspension, ample cabin space and one of the largest luggage compartments in its class (380 liters - all 64 liters more than the Ford Focus’s boot). So a newbie is worth noting no matter what price range interests you, but it’s not a good alternative for lovers of sportiness and dynamism.
