The second-generation Rio is produced on the same platform as the Hyundai Accent. This is a brand new model with a new design, more interior space, new engines, more standard equipment and better economy. While the Rio was a fairly successful model, it wasn’t particularly competitive compared to other cars with stronger brands and more tenacious marketing.
