Koenigsegg Gemera - there is no other car like this. This is the first real supercar with four seats. As the company expands, Koenigsegg, as a narrow-profile manufacturer, has to expand its car range. The next step for this company is pretty clear - either a super-safe or a four-seater. Recently, the first SUVs have been introduced by many sports car manufacturers, but Koenigsegg does not want to risk its image yet and has chosen a safer route - introduced the four-seater Koenigsegg Gemera model. Because the four-seater doesn’t have to beat world track records, it can be bigger, heavier and of course greener, in other words, an electric car or at least a hybrid. So the Gemera is a four-seater coupe with a modern hybrid powertrain with a 2.0-liter, 3-cylinder internal combustion engine. It is a new segment Koenigsegg car, but at the same time did not move away from the company's image of supercars. This car has everything - extraordinary power, comfort, environmental friendliness and practicality. And of course the crazy price. This first four-seater Koenigsegg car easily and comfortably accommodates four people, which enter the interior of this hypercar through an extremely wide, liftable door - the same as in other Koenigsegg cars. This solution is just great because the car looks like a typical sports coupe, maybe a little longer, but not much like a four-seater sedan. In addition, such a solution completely eliminates the need for middle pillars - it gives a feeling of space every time you sit in the car. Of course, this is not a new solution, but such a caliber has not yet been seen in a car. The design of the Koenigsegg Gemera is absolutely amazing - the company's designers were not only able to "hide" the extended car body, combine sharp and smooth lines, but at the same time retained all the traditional features of the Koenigsegg. Gemera is not as aggressive as its relatives Regera or Jesko, so the design style is chosen to be softer - you can see it as a nicely folded car door or as a perfectly compact rear end combines the shapes of headlights, airflow, grille and diffuser. The minimalist style is chosen inside - we hardly see any buttons or levers here, only leather and carbon fiber. But how beautiful the door trim looks ... and the elongated sunroof. For rear-seat passengers, the feeling should be completely unrealistic. The wheelbase of the car is even 3 meters, the seat backs are extremely thin, so there will be no space in the cabin even for the passengers sitting in the back. The luggage compartment is fitted at both the front and the extra-deep compartment at the rear behind the engine. The Gemera is a hybrid that has a small 2.0-liter, 3-cylinder, twin-turbo petrol engine and three electric motors - one on the engine shaft and one on each rear wheel. The petrol power plant generates 608 hp (447 kW) and 600 Nm of power, and together with the electric motors achieves 1724 hp (1250 kW) of power and even 3,500 Nm of torque suitable for Koenigsegg! With this power, a speed of 100 km / h is reached in just 1.9 seconds. Maximum speed - more than 400 km / h. It is also the first Koenigsegg all-wheel drive. But this hypercar can be surprisingly eco-friendly. While the Gemera can also run on regular gasoline, the car is more environmentally friendly when it burns ethanol or organically produced methanol. The manufacturer claims that in this way the car's CO2 emissions are equal to that of a conventional electric car. The electricity provided by the 16 kWh battery enables you to cover a distance of 50 km using only electricity, and when driving in hybrid mode - 950 km.

This car does not have EuroNCAP safety rating.
