The Koenigsegg CCX is a Swedish car with a mid-mounted engine that replaced the CCR model. In its time, the CCR model has officially become the fastest car in the world, defeating the 12-year-old McLaren F1 and reaching a speed of 387.37 km / h. Previous Koenigsegg models were powered by a modified US-made Ford Modular 4.7 L V8 engine, while the CCX engine was designed by Koenigsegg itself. It is a 4.7 liter (4719 cc) V8 DOHC engine with 4 valves per cylinder and two turbines. The engine generates 806 hp (601 kW) / 6900rpm and 919 Nm / 5700 rpm of torque is powered by 91 octane gasoline. The CCX can accelerate from 0-100 km / h in 3.2 seconds, from 0 to 200 km / h in 9.8 seconds. It is said that this supercar can reach a top speed of 417 km / h, although this has not been officially tested. 2008 On June 15, SportAuto tested a standard CCX beat 0-300-0 km / h in just 29.2 seconds, overtaking such legendary supercars as the SLR McLaren 722, Lamborghini Murcielago LP640, Porsche 997 GT2, Alpina B6 S and Corvette Z06. A "nature-friendly" version of the CCXR that runs on biofuels is also being produced. The CCXR can run on E85 or E100 ethanol fuel as well as standard 98 octane gasoline. When powered by the E85 Biofuel, the CCXR develops an incredible 1018 hp (759 kW) and 1060 Nm of torque, the CCXR can reach 100 km / h in 2.9 seconds! The Koenigsegg CCX, which was tested on the BBC Top Gear, beat the test track faster than the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 and the Pagani Zonda Roadster F!
The name CCX is encrypted as the Competition Coupé X. Here, the Roman "X" stands for "10," which marks the tenth anniversary of the first test drive in 1996.
