Diablo is a serious sports car manufactured by the Italian manufacturer Lamborghini from 1990 to 2001, before the Lamborghini Murciélago was replaced. Lamborghini began creating Diablo (which means "devil" in Lithuanian) in 1985 as a follower of the Countach model and also has a lift-up door. Power was generated by a 5.7-liter, 48-valve legendary Lamborghini V12 DOHC engine with an electronic fuel injection system and had 492 hp (367 kW) and 579 Nm of torque. The car can reach 60 mph (97 km / h) in just over 4 seconds and a top speed of 325 km / h. The Diablo is powered by the rear wheels and the engine is mounted in the middle of the car to achieve the ideal weight balance. The most powerful variant of Diablo called GTR was introduced in 2000. The Diablo GTR has a 6-liter V12 engine that develops an impressive 590 hp (440 kW). This car has a cab specially adapted for racing, and it has produced only 40 units in total.
In 1991, the Diablo was the fastest production car in the world, reaching a top speed of 333 km / h and depriving the title of the Ferrari F40, which had a top speed of 324 km / h. But in the same year, Diablo was overtaken by another impressive car, the Bugatti EB110, which reached a speed of 343 km / h.

Jeremy Clarkson, host of Top Gear, described Lamborghini Diablo as "the most eye-catching car in the world."
