Lamborghini Reventon, 2008 - 2009
The Lamborghini Reventón has a mid-mounted engine and is the most powerful and most expensive Lamborghini road car ever, costing a million euros. Officially, only 20 of these cars will be produced, and in each of them, between the driver’s and passenger seats, it will be marked which of the 20 this car is in. Traditionally, Reventón is named after the fighting bull that is known for the 1943 assassination of the famous toreador Félix Guzmán. Although the Reventón’s exterior is brand new, almost all of the mechanical elements, including the engine, are borrowed from the Murciélago LP640 model. According to an official press release, the exterior design was inspired by the fastest aircraft - military fighter jets. To emphasize this, Lamborghini organized a race between the Reventón and the Panavia Tornado fighter. The car has a 6.5 L V12 engine with 640 hp (480 kW) and can accelerate to 100 km / h in the same amount as the Murciélago LP640 - 3.4 seconds and can reach a maximum speed of 340 km / h. Inside, the instrument panel has three LCD screens with two different ways of displaying the devices, as well as an overload force G-meter.
