Land Rover Discovery, 2009 - 2016
The new fourth-generation Land Rover Discovery continues to be an extremely practical seven-seater SUV that has now received a new highly efficient TDV6 diesel engine, a slightly updated exterior design and a premium interior. The car is one of the best in its class, both on asphalt and off-road, and the new model has new environmentally friendly technologies. The new LR-TDV6 3.0 twin-turbine diesel engine is 9% more economical, emits 10% less CO2 and is 29% more powerful than the older 2.7-liter diesel engine. Torque has increased by more than 36% to an impressive 600Nm - the cogger’s highest torque among all 6-cylinder diesel engines. The car's maximum torque is available in a wide speed range, as a result of which the heavy car accelerates from 0-100 km / h in 9.6 seconds, which is 24 percent better than the 2.7-liter engine. From the outside, Discovery has changed very little - the more aerodynamic the bumper has become, the smoother some surfaces. The lights that now use LED technology on both the front and rear have changed. The SUV has got a new interior, with a changed center console, new seats and a host of new comfort and safety features.
