The new Land Rover model is a rare occurrence, so it always gets a lot of attention. So the new Discovery, Kogero’s most important and truest of all, the Land Rover certainly doesn’t lack attention. Unfortunately, first of all, this car will receive a lot of criticism ... The old model has maintained its original and solid image from generation to generation - it is a cool, angled car with an exclusive design. But this time, the Discovery is different - it's round, sleek and has become infinitely similar to the Range Rover Sport. And where else is Discovery Sport, Range Rover models ... After all, a "sporty" version of Discovery Sport was introduced to those who want to round the Discovery a few years ago. So who needed to make the iconic car look like a bunch of other Land Rover models remains a big question. Of course, there is also good news - thanks to the use of aluminum, the new Discovery weighs as much as half a ton less (after all, almost the entire F1 car), and the drag coefficient has been reduced from 0.4 to 0.3. The Discovery remained a large car: the 4970mm long and 2,073mm wide SUV could accommodate up to seven passengers. The seats in all three rows are heated and the front two are ventilated. The comfortable and large car remained remarkably good off-road, able to overcome the brast almost a meter deep and climb a hill to which not everyone would dare to walk. And on the road, the car is much better than its predecessor - the manufacturers have paid a lot of attention to the car's handling characteristics, which is also helped by the much lower weight of the car.
