The Lexus IS F is a sporty version of the luxury IS model. This is the first of the upcoming F-series Lexus cars. The IS F was first unveiled at the 2007 North American International Auto Show. The car has a larger and more powerful engine than the standard IS, as well as improved brakes, bodywork. The design of the car has obviously changed - the carbon fiber details used are 1 cm lower than the standard IS, it has 19-inch forged BBS rims and so on. Chief IS F designer Yukihiko Yaguchi has previously worked on the Toyota Supra model. But the most important differences are under the hood, here we find a 5.0 L V8 engine with 422 hp (311 kW) / 6600 rpm and a maximum torque of 503 Nm / 5200 rpm.
