McLaren 720S , 2017 - 2023
The all-new McLaren 720S, introduced in Geneva in 2016, replaced the 650S. McLaren is still such a new company that this is the first time an older model has been replaced by a new one. The newcomer has a center-mounted 711 hp 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine and a high torque of 770 Nm. The McLaren 720S has impressive dynamics: it accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 2.9 seconds, which is 0.1 seconds faster than its main competitor Ferrari 488. The car's design perfectly combines a wide range of air intakes that go beyond engine cooling. , but also performs an aerodynamic function. As a result, the McLaren 720S generates 30 percent more clamping force than the 650S. The British car has a lightweight carbon fiber structure, which is used even more extensively in this model - this material is used in the construction of the roof and thin but sturdy pillars, which makes the interior look bright and gives the driver excellent visibility in all directions. The top-opening doors are larger and provide more space to enter the cabin. Inside, the cabin is spartan and sporty - it is not overloaded with non-essential parts or switches. The center has a small vertical LCD screen. In front of the driver, the instrument panel can provide standard readings - speed, speed, and can be folded down and a minimal distraction panel showing only the basic readings can be used.
