Mercedes-Benz CL Class, 2006 - 2013
The Mercedes-Benz CL (Comfort Leicht in German) is a huge luxury GT-class coupe. The car is built on the base of the S-Class sedan (with a shorter base and a smaller choice of engines), so the two classes are produced in parallel. The car has become much more solid and expressive in shape with extremely eye-catching large wheel arches, a large bonnet and a large radiator grille. The interior features a brand new instrument panel that looks similar to the BMW 7 Series with an on-board computer control joystick at hand. In the center - a huge navigation screen, below - elegant air control vents, a square analog clock, even below - the levers are similar to those used in airplanes. Although the speed and speed readings look like analogs, they are actually electronically displayed, which can be replaced by a night vision image. The interior exudes a luxurious art deco style. All in all, the car has become solid again, radiating luxury and grandeur. CL, as befits, has an endless variety of comfort and safety equipment. The most powerful variant is the CL 65 AMG, this monster is powered by a Bi-Turbo 6.0 L engine with 612 hp (456 kW) and an incredible torque of 1000 Nm!
