Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, 2009 - 2014
The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is a two-seater GT-class car replacing the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren supercar. This is the first Mercedes car designed by AMG. The SLS is described as the modern embodiment of the legendary 1960s Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing. The car, like its old predecessor, has a very long bonnet, a small passenger compartment pushed far towards the rear axle, a short rear end and a door that certainly opens upwards. By the way, in the event of an accident, the door can be completely removed. As appropriate, the SLS has an impressive 6.3-liter V8 with 571 hp and 650 Nm of torque, accelerating to 100 km / h in an impressive 3.8 seconds and reaching a top speed of 317 km / h. The aluminum three-dimensional body allows you to reach a weight of only 1,620 kg, which is distributed between the front and rear axles in a good 47:53 ratio thanks to the engine being pushed behind the front axle. The small passenger compartment boasts a well-designed instrument panel with characteristic air vents, silver instrument displays with F1-style gearshift LEDs and a center-mounted LCD display. The materials found here are only of the highest quality and there is no better proof than magnesium alloy sports seats - ideally light and strong. It looks like the car is really great, or it will also look great on the test tracks in the near future.
