The Mitsubishi Carisma is a small family car manufactured from 1995 to 2004. The name of the car is derived from the English word “car” and the Greek word “kharisma” meaning “charisma.” The carisma was produced with a 4-door sedan and a 5-door hatchback. The car shared a chassis with a Volvo S40 and had 1.3 L to 1.8 L petrol engines. a 1.8 L Gdi diesel and a 1.9 L TD turbodiesel with 90 hp (67 kW) borrowed from Renault Despite the name Carisma, the car had a relatively indistinguishable design aimed at a conservative European buyer.The car was in the Mitsubishi range between the Lancer and Galant models.When Carisma production was completed , Lancer took her place.
