Nissan 200 SX, 1999 - 2002
The new Silvia (S15), a car of great design and power, debuted in 1999 with a 225 hp (170 kW) SR20DET engine and an improved turbine. The design of the S15 has become more aggressive both externally and internally, with an updated chassis and suspension that uses alloy assemblies and the first-ever 6-speed manual gearbox. A convertible body has also been produced, which is very rare. The spec-R version with turbo engine has increased body rigidity, 4-cylinder brake calipers and a new optional HICAS (High Capacity Active Steering) four-wheel drive system. The Silvia S15 is a great car with great and easy-to-increase power, great handling and is a favorite with rear-wheel drive fans. This is a model that you will very often see in so-called drift races.
