Nissan Altima, 2007 - 2013
It is the first Nissan vehicle to use the smaller Nissan D platform developed in conjunction with Renault. The Altima has improved front and rear suspension, the wheelbase has been shortened by 25 mm, but the interior space has remained virtually unchanged. Nissan Maxima and Murano are also using this new platform. It has been speculated that Altima will soon replace Primera in Europe, but so far Primera is still in production even though its sales are lagging far behind competitors. Altima is fun to drive, the car has reliability, spaciousness, good brakes. Among the disadvantages - how hard the suspension is on a bad road, poor interior materials.
