The legend is back. The Nissan GT-R is a true sports car with a VR38DETT 3.8 L DOHC V6 engine. Two parallel turbochargers deliver 480 hp (360 kW) / 6400 rpm and 588 Nm / 3200-5200 rpm of torque. The weight of the car is 1730 kg, which is held by a welded steel chassis. Bonnet, boot lid and doors - aluminum. The rear of the car is equipped with a semi-automatic transmission and the ATTESA E-TS system, which distributes power to all four wheels separately. The coefficient of air resistance is 0.27. Nissan claims that the GT-R can reach a top speed of 314 km / h and reach 100 km / h in an impressive 3.2 seconds. The GT-R is currently one of the fastest production cars to beat the Nurburgring ring. In the Buttonwillow Raceway, the car was 5 seconds faster than the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 and Porsche 911 Turbo, and the top-gear GT-R with a time of 1: 19.7 is in eighth place among all cars (equal to the Ferrari F430 Scuderia). In the Las Vegas Motor Speedway ring, the GT-R achieved times very similar to the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano and Porsche 911 GT2 and 3 seconds slower than the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1. In short, the GT-R is one of the fastest production cars in the world. It is not for nothing that he is called a baby veyron in allusion to the powerful Bugatti Veyron. The GT-R design is exceptional. As Shiro Nakamura, head of the car's creative team, puts it: "The GT-R is unique in that it is not a replica of any other European supercar, but is a true reflection of Japanese culture." Indeed, the car is very similar to the Gundam series robots, which are very popular in Japan - slender, angular, rough, and the design that radiates power and aggression is just great! Nissan Motorsport Center Nissan is preparing the Nissan GT-R to race in the Super GT and GT500 Series, which will replace the currently participating Nissan 350Z.
The GT-R is currently one of the fastest production cars to beat the Nurburgring (10th place in October 2011). He has managed to beat such cars as Maserati MC12, Pagani Zonda F Clubsport, Ferrari Enzo, Porsche Carrera GT, Koenigsegg CCX, Lamborghini Murcielago LP640, Ferrari 458 Italia.

In the Buttonwillow Raceway, the car was 5 seconds faster than the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 and Porsche 911 Turbo.

The GT-R with a 1: 17.8 time on the Top-gear list was the fastest Japanese car tested (equal to the Pagani Zonda F and faster than the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1).

In the Las Vegas Motor Speedway ring, the GT-R achieved times very similar to the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano and Porsche 911 GT2 and 1.2 seconds slower than the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1.

The special GT-R SpecVIn version, although no more power, has an improved torque curve. When tested, this car (Auto Express magazine) was able to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds and reach 1.12 g of overload at acceleration.
