Nissan Juke, 2019 - present
The first-generation Nissan Juke was one of those rare cars that was a huge success and had a truly distinctive and distinctive design. The problem with such cars is that when preparing to release the next generation model, designers face the dilemma - keeping the old design would be standing still, but introducing something radically new again would be too much of a risk. So a compromise solution needs to be found. We can say that the developers of the second generation Nissan Juke performed this difficult task extremely well. On the one hand, the New Juke has retained the silhouette of its predecessor and a distinctive front end, on the other hand, the car looks fresh and interesting. The front has been successfully fitted with a new style Nissan radiator grille, and the elongated headlights not only look original, but are also incorporated very organically and contrast nicely with the large round headlights. Maybe only the back looks a bit boring, but there are "facelifts" for that. Inside, the car doesn’t look as cool as it does outside, yet the materials used are much better. Of course, it's cheap to do it when the predecessor was characterized by exceptional "plasmasticity" ... In addition, thanks to the 10 cm longer wheelbase, passengers are given more space at the rear, which is really good news for adult passengers. On the road, the car behaves a little sportier than its predecessor, the steering has become more precise, the gearshift of the manual gearbox is perfectly smooth. The 1-liter 3-cylinder engines are quite dynamic, much more economical and environmentally friendly than their predecessor. Sure, it’s not a sports car, but driving it is fun. Unfortunately, the manufacturer of the Nismo version does not plan to release it.
