Maxima has been reclaimed with an independent multi-link rear-wheel suspension similar to the one used by Altima. The new Maxima has become slightly smaller than its predecessor (although the wheelbase and width have increased slightly) and is focused on luxury sportiness - this is accentuated by the sloping coupe-type roof line. The new Maxima emphasizes driving pleasure, a comfortable and luxurious interior with a variety of comfort-enhancing accessories. Owners love it, as do V6 engine power. The downsides are the extremely large turning radius, sunroof failures and steering wheel vibration at higher speeds.
