The refurbished Murano, like the old one, stands out from the competition with its aggressive front design and small rear windows. The interior is also completely new - with a more traditional dashboard, significantly higher quality materials. The new Murano is produced on the Nissan D platform, which is shared with the fourth-generation Nissan Altima and the new Nissan Maxima. The Murano has an updated engine with the same 3.5-liter displacement, but more powerful - now 265 hp (198 kW) and torque of 336 Nm. Updated engine, new platform, improved interior, distinctive design make the Murano attractive. The SUV has a very quiet, comfortable ride, maybe a little too soft. Although the car can be driven on all wheels, the AWD system feeds up to 50% of the torque to the rear wheels only when necessary. It’s not a real SUV, but it’s great for trips in not the best weather. Among the disadvantages - the car does not have a third row of seats, is not very economical, has a smaller trunk than its predecessor and limited visibility to the rear.
