The new Pathfinder is built on the same platform as the Infiniti JX, Altima, Maxima, Murano and Quest models, making the Pathfinder more of a big car than a real SUV. This is confirmed by the fact that the car is also produced with only two driving wheels. Initially, the Pathfinder was equipped with only one engine that has already been tested - a 3.5-liter V6 petrol engine with 260 horsepower. The engine is equipped with an Xtronic CVT gearbox. A hybrid version with a small 2.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine will be introduced later. Although the Pathfinder has lost its frame construction, it is a truly powerful, spacious SUV capable of towing more than 2,200 kilograms and not "getting lost" when off-road.
