In 2008, the second-generation Nissan X-Trail was introduced. The car has become slightly larger than the previous model and is now built on the Nissan C platform, but from the outside the car differs very little from its predecessor - how much the headlights have changed, the shape of the rear window. The X-Trail is suitable for uneven roads, slippery surfaces and winding mountain passes. The sensors in the ALL-MODE 4x4-i system evaluate the location and precisely distribute the required torque to each wheel. The 2 L 141 hp petrol engine is brand new, while the 2.5-liter engine has been significantly improved and reaches 169 hp. The 2L diesel engines use the latest dCi technology to help generate 150 or 173 hp, while the largest diesel engine is the YD22DDTi 2.2-liter turbo version.
The car in 2008, I drove 70,000 km. Everything is good in terms of comfort, but I think that with a car costing 120,000 lt, the vibration of the body during the engine idling should not be so significant. The interior mirror also vibrates at low engine speeds. It is also inconvenient that savings are made on the indication of the lights on. Since my car has a hatch, it's a little space for those sitting in the back above my head. There are a few more small observations, but not essential ones. Now about the pros. First of all - a large trunk, in addition to two levels. The driver's seat is comfortable, the seats are electrically comfortable, but the leather is not of high quality, so you can already see the cracks. The suspension is comfortable both in the city and on dirt roads. I would recommend installing a crankcase guard, because going out into nature is a big plus. There is no need to overestimate the off-road capabilities as it is an SUV and not a framed SUV. Without tech service, only the front wheel bearing had to be replaced. Original-priced cosmic, while non-original SKF costs min 3 cats cheaper. I was pleasantly surprised by the work of the Faktoauto office. Since rust appeared on the back cover after 4 winters, the film's employees noticed it and repainted it for free, although the car was not guaranteed. I read in the Russian forums that this is a weak point of the X-Trail.
Performance
The 2.0dci engine does not cause problems even at -25 cold. Power was 150aj, but the new engine management program raised it to 170-175aj. The torque increased from 320nm to 380nm. Fuel consumption has not risen, but traction is already better.
Reliability, running costs
Service costs at Nissan dealerships are not small, but I don't want to give a new car to anyone, because I had a bitter experience with the previous one. Depreciation is a relative thing, because this year's car will have traveled at least 150,000 km from the west.
