The Peugeot 3008 is a hybrid of a monovolume, crossover and hatchback with 5 or 7 seats. Unlike the new Peugeot 4007 SUV, which is a replacement for the Mitsubishi Outlander, the 3008 was built on its own, hoping to compete with the hugely popular Nissan Qashqai.
The Peugeot 3008 is slightly longer than the Qashqai (4365 mm vs. 4315 mm) and has a larger boot (512-1604 l vs. 410-1515 l). This Peugeot is equipped with one of six engines: three petrol (1.6 L / 120 hp / 160 Nm, 1.6 L / 150 hp / 240 Nm and 1.6 L / 156 hp / 240 Nm), and three diesel (1.6 L / 110 hp) / 240 Nm, 2 L / 150 hp / 340 Nm and 2 L / 163 hp / 340 Nm). Depending on the engine, the car will be equipped with a 5 or 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission.
