Peugeot 3008, 2016 - present
It would be hard to find a car that has transformed more with a new generation of cars than the Peugeot 3008. The old 3008 was a roomy monovolume with a moderate, memorable design. The new 3008 has become a crossover with an expressive, “screaming” design that won’t leave anyone indifferent. It is clear that Peugeot’s design team did not follow any rules or accepted norms and allowed the imagination to express itself. The result is an aggressively shaped, aggressive front end of the Peugeot 3008 with a wealth of sharp lines, complex surfaces and unusual design solutions. Oddly enough, these lines fit together really well. At the back, a noticeable window transitions smoothly into the headlight bar. On the sides, a line delimiting the multi-colored rail, a chrome-glossed roof line and a brightly pronounced "shoulders" above the rear wheel arches stand out. The car really transformed and became like a transformer - that would be the description of this crossover. This style of bold, unobtrusive lines at first glance has recently become particularly noticeable throughout the automotive industry. The Peugeot 3008 has 55 mm longer wheelbase than its predecessor, and 194 mm longer than its sister Peugeot 308. So it's a medium-sized crossover - slightly larger than the Nissan Qashqai and just 2 mm shorter than the Renault Kadjar. Inside the 3008, they also don't mind modesty - the "layered" driver-oriented front panel design with a small steering wheel stands out. There is a 12.3-inch LCD screen in front of the driver and an 8-inch screen on the right. The stylish control buttons installed under the air vents are not in a very convenient location, but they are beautiful. A lot of attention has been paid to exclusivity and originality in this car. True, the quality of interior materials is not exceptional. The 3008 makes good use of the tall body - the tall adults can comfortably fit in the front, but there will be a bit of space for the heads of those sitting in the back thanks to the lowering roof.
