Peugeot Partner, 2008 - 2018
Since the launch of the Peugeot Partner in 1998, the car has always been in the shadow of its twin Citroen Berling. Despite the fact that the cars were identical Partner could not match thanks to the higher price. With this new model, Peugeot intends to make up for it by offering a new design, a more personalized model that intends to base its price on high quality. The car has become bigger and more attractive, it is better adapted to the passengers sitting in the back, therefore it will be suitable for families instead of the usual minivans. Rear-seat passengers now have separate ventilation and lighting controls, storage compartments, and sliding doors are always an advantage in tight shopping malls. The car has become wider, so the driver will benefit from large rear-view mirrors. Partner is also produced with 7 seats. Although the seats in the third row of seats are provided less than, say, a Fiat Doblo in a competing car, there should be enough space for children and the boot is larger than in the Fiat Doblo. The rear seats are separate and can be removed to increase the luggage compartment to 650 liters. The Peugeot Partner also has its weaknesses, such as high body tilt and less precise operation of the transmission.
