This car was significant in that it was the last 911 model with an air-cooled engine to be produced since 1964. The exterior boasted a brand new front and rear. The improved design looked smoother, the front sleeker, the car became something like the 959 supercar. This 911 was the first Porsche to have a variable intake phase engine with a Varioram system. In this way, a perfect compromise has been reached between high-speed (high-power) and low-speed (high-torque) engines in a single engine. It was one of the first engines of this type to be mass-produced. Great boxer-type engine sound behind the back and legendary 911 hands - what could be better?
