Renault Latitude, 2010 - 2015
Despite many companies focusing on smaller car production, Renault has returned to introduce a completely new flagship, the Renault Latitude, which has replaced the original but commercially unsuccessful Renault Vel Satis model. Of course, this model is more focused not on traditional European markets, but on the markets of Russia, Turkey, Asian countries, Mexico. At almost 5 meters long, the Latitude is almost the same size as its nearest rival Citroen C6. Initially, the car is offered with a two-liter engine and CVT automatic transmission or a V6 engine with a six-speed automatic. For other markets, Renault is installing more engines, including diesel ones. Advantages include spacious Latitude interiors, a large trunk, three-zone air conditioning and massaging driver’s seats.
