Seat Alhambra, 1995 - 2000

The first-generation Alhambra was designed and built with its twin brothers, the Ford Galaxy and the Volkswagen Sharan. The cars use mostly Volkswagen mechanics, including the most powerful engine - the 2.8-liter VR6, which is known as the most powerful VW Golf engine. There was also a diesel variant with a VW 1.9-liter turbodiesel engine. The interior was a mixture of Ford and VW components - although the devices were taken from the VW Golf, the design itself was a Ford project and very similar to the Ford Mondeo dashboard.
