The Seat Leon is a compact family car built on a VW Golf Mk5 platform with an expressive design designed by designer Walter de’Silva. The car is very similar to the recent SEAT Altea and has the same vertical windscreen wipers, and integrated rear door handles similar to those used in the Alfa Romeo 156 models. The most powerful version of the Leon Cupra has a 2.0 TFSI 240 hp (177 kW) engine and can accelerate from 0-100 km / h in 6.4 seconds. This model is the fastest and most powerful Seat ever produced. This generation of SEAT Leon is extremely popular in the ring racing championships: World Touring Car Championship (WTCC), British Touring Car Championship (BTCC), Italia Superturismo Championship.
