The Škoda Octavia is a small family car with five-door hatchback and station wagon bodies. The first generation Octavia is built on the Volkswagen Group A4 (PQ34) platform. The car, which has only just begun on sale, has enjoyed great success due to its practicality, spaciousness, VW quality and low price, which it maintains well over time. The Octavia was also produced with a four-wheel drive 4x4 system in both the station wagon and hatchback versions. Like the Fabia, a vRS version with a 1.8-liter turbo engine with 180 hp (134 kW) similar to the one used in the Audi TT was introduced and best equipped.
