Superb is a prestigious Skoda car built on a Volkswagen Passat platform (but is extended by 10 centimeters) and shares with it many mechanical units. This is currently the largest and most luxurious model in the Skoda range. Like the Rolls-Royce Phantom, some Superb models even have a special case for an umbrella in the rear door. Although the Passat on which the Skoda model is based competes with cars similar to the Ford Mondeo and Peugeot 407, the Superb is presented as an alternative to the more prestigious BMW 3 Series and Audi A4. 2006 Superb was updated - received new radiator grille, taillights, and the interior was updated.
