The new Skoda Yeti is designed to compete with cars such as the Nissan Qashqai or MINI Crossman. With the exception of a few cosmetic changes, the car is virtually unchanged from the conceptual model that debuted at the 2005 Geneva Motor Show. This car promises to be the most flexible and comprehensive Skoda model. The car looks really solid and attractive. At just 4.2 meters long, the Yeti is only slightly larger than the Citroen C3 Picasso, but has more interior space, leg and head space is saturated, the boot volume is as high as 410 liters, and lowering the rear seats gives as much as 1,760 liters of space. Inside, the dashboard also earns good ratings for quality and simple device layout. The Skoda Yeti has a lot in common with the Octavia 4x4, which in turn is built on the MkV Volkswagen Golf base. The rear suspension is borrowed from the Passat to improve stability and comfort. It is expected that only a third of the Yeti will be sold with an all-wheel drive system. The car is not as sporty to drive as the Ford Kuga - the Yeti feels higher. However, the driving characteristics are very good and precise, the suspension is quite rigid, but remains comfortable. The higher seat is also very comfortable for city driving. With a hill descent, a push-button off-road mode, and ABS for slippery surfaces, the Skoda Yeti is sure to be a reliable small SUV.
Skoda Yeti took an honorable fourth place in the 2010 European Car of the Year.
In 2009, the Skoda Yeti was recognized as the best car in the family (Top Gear show). In this show, its host, Jeremy Clarkson, convinced the car Kogero to be the best car in the world.
In 2010, the Skoda Yeti was named the best car of the year (Auto Express magazine).
one of the cheapest crossovers, wagen according to people :) plenty of room, good ground clearance with short wheel base and 4x4, cheap service costs.
biggest minus – wagen's left over :) those who are looking for German quality buy Audi, who can't afford Audi- buy Volkswagen. The rest of poor people left with Seat or Skoda. Exterior more interesting then interior.

Car description
New front end in cars exterior was a success after the face lift. I reckon people who buy Skoda can't afford other Volkswagens. Car's built quality could be better, plastics inside squeak. There is “interesting” ideas: 1. When turning engine off, sometimes vipers twitch. Supposedly it prolongs the life of viper blades. 2. Every time when the engine is started, the air circulation has to be adjusted again. If the air flow is adjusted to the windscreen, aircon automatically comes on. Nobs are not marked clearly enough, when adjusting have to pay too much attention or can not adjust it right. 3. If driving in the forest with day lights on, when it gets darker due to the trees, the dash lights come on and off. 4. Stupid mirrors adjustment. They adjust all together at the same time. It's very annoying for different drivers, especially with different heights. 5. Shiny windows pillars plastics easily scratched. Unless you only use the car to go to the shopping center and back, to the creche and back home… 6. Original audio system is very poor, even mobile phones have better quality. 7. Arches are rusting… at least 1st generation Yeti. 8. Even though it is practical, it's boring inside. 9. Board computer is not showing correct readings, shorter trips- worse readings.
Performance
109 bhp, 250 nm torque, common rail system. Quiet and fun engine, but not very economical.
Reliability, running costs
It's a wagen group representative, so even it is a piece of sh… people will always think it's better then Dacia Duster :)
Recommendations to buyers
Buy a car – not it's shadow :) after Skoda I realized that PSA are making cars too :)
