Spyker C8 Preliator, 2016 - present
Spyker continues its historic aviation heritage with the new C8 Preliator model, which replaces the old C8 Aileron model. Based on the B6 Venator concept model, the Preliator is designed as a stylish sports car with some retro design details reminiscent of airplane details. This can be seen in the rounded body shapes, the side air intakes, the all-enclosing glass roof and especially in the interior style where aluminum and device switches reminiscent of fighter cockpits predominate. This impression is also reflected in the name "Preliator", which means "fighter" in Latin. The car has an aluminum construction that not only weighs less, but is also stronger than its predecessor. The front and rear suspension design uses a Lotus-developed suspension, and a solid V8 engine generating 525 hp hides under the hood.
