Subaru Impreza WRX, 2001 - 2002
In 2000, Subaru introduced the "new age" Imprez. This second-generation Impreza has become bigger, safer, tougher, better equipped and more powerful, but has lost its coupe body. For many enthusiasts, the changes to the new car did not make much of an impression because the car became heavier and slower, and the new design was not welcomed due to the round headlights and the profile that did not stand out from other cars. As a result, in 2003 Subaru upgraded the car with more traditional, more square headlights. The new WRX is produced in both sedan and station wagon body, and the chassis has become 120% stiffer. As already seen in the older version, the car is equipped with an excellent 2.0-liter turbo H4 engine that reaches a top power of 227 hp and is equipped with a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission. This car accelerates from 0-100 km / h in 6 seconds. The WRX sedan and station wagon have an AWD all-wheel drive system that makes you feel like a real racer. From the ordinary Impreza, the WRX model stands out with an opening in the hood, dual exhaust, sports seats and a Momo leather steering wheel. Slightly cheaper than the WRX STi, this model also manages to surprise and provide great driving pleasure - it's really fun to see the WRX station wagon on the highway, which no "sports" car can beat.
