Subaru Outback, 1999 - 2004

The Subaru Outback is an all-wheel drive station wagon (although a rare sedan has also been produced). The new Subaru Outback is a rougher, more durable version of the Urban Legacy on which it is based. Durability is what attracts most Outback buyers. All vehicles with the Outback badge have AWD, there were no versions driven only by the front wheels. It was a distinctive feature of the Outback, as were some of the design details - it differed from the Legacy with bumpers (with large fog lamps), plastic door guards, higher tires and slightly more ground clearance. The outback is lower than most SUVs or SUVs, making it more stable and easier to operate. Although not a real SUV, the Outback is capable of off-road driving. Among the disadvantages - inside it is a bit small, noisy and not very economical, in addition, the 4-cylinder engine lacks power.
