The Suzuki SX4 S-Cross has replaced the long-built SX4 model and is now on par with anti-recognized competitors such as the Nissan Qashqai or Skoda Yeti. The new model is produced on a completely new platform with a front or all-wheel drive system. The design of the SX4 S-Cross is pleasing to the eye and pretty well guesses today’s fashion, but it’s not something exclusive, especially the rear end is very similar to the Nissan Qashqai. Inside, the car meets a comfortable front panel, but the plastic used is of poor quality. The high seating position and high windows provide a great view, the seats are comfortable only solid. Still, the SX4 S-Cross is a compact crossover and is very noticeable to rear passengers. The luggage compartment is commendable - reaching all 430 liters. The steering has a sense of excessive "lightness", but is surprisingly accurate as in a car of this class. The suspension has stiffness, making it a bit too stiff as a family car. The SX4 S-Cross's all-wheel drive system is commendable - it can use Auto mode (fuel-saving power is transferred to the front wheels), Sport mode transfers more power to the rear wheels, Snow and Lock modes for more serious "squeaking" in snow or mud. True, a significant drawback of the Suzuki SX4 S-Cross is the low ground clearance. The crossover is equipped with two 1.6-liter engines with 118 hp - one petrol, the other diesel. The petrol unit generates just 156 Nm of torque, making a diesel with 320 Nm much more dynamic and enjoyable to drive.
