The Tata Nano is a small city car with an engine at the rear, rear-wheel drive and primarily aimed at the Indian market. Tata has sought to create the cheapest series-produced car, which will cost around $ 2,000. Newsweek magazine described the Nano as a "new generation 21st century car." The car has a 33 hp (24 kW) 623 cc engine that consumes 4.55 L / 100 km of fuel in the city and 3.85 L / 100 km in the highway. This is the first car to have a two-cylinder non-opposing gasoline engine with a single balance shaft. Since the car is really cheap it has some interesting features: the Nano doesn’t have a boot lid, the luggage compartment is accessed through the cabin by folding down the rear seats; The Nano has only one wiper; some parts of the body are glued rather than welded; The Nano has no power steering; The Nano has only 3 wheel bolts; the nano has only one side view mirror.
