The TVR Tuscan is equipped with as many as five different six-cylinder engines, including a 4.0-liter Speed Six variant with 390 hp. This model is capable of accelerating to 100 km / h in 3.9 seconds. Under the leadership of JHA company Nikolai Smolenski, more attention was paid not only to the dynamic properties, but also to the quality of assembly and reliability. There is a noticeable improvement inside the car - smaller gaps between parts, better quality. The new symmetrical dashboard design is probably the best of all TVRs. However, the company is still surprised by the non-standard solutions - the car door can be opened only by pressing the button under the side mirror, the unusual green illumination inside the eye and the counterclockwise rotation arrow. But all the weirdness is immediately forgotten when the engine is started - instant response to the accelerator, gear shifting is easy to control, rear wheel grip is good enough to avoid major problems on dry asphalt, powerful brakes and everything is crowned by great engine sound. The Tuscan’s on-road behavior is surprisingly reliable, polished compared to older TVR models, but the car’s “nose” still jumps nervously over bumps, and you won’t find traction control systems, ABS or airbags here. That's what TVR is like - rough, wild, that's what enthusiasts of this brand like.
